Real viet food- jellyfish salad or durian smoothie anyone? Ordered banh mi dac biet & durian smoothie to go as my plane meal.

Best spring rolls on the island! [Location] Pho One is located on Kapiolani and offers free (limited) customer parking! This restaurant is super clean! The owners definitely care deeply for their business. You can see it in the little details. Plenty of seating. Well-decorated. Restrooms are also super well-kept! [Food] The spring rolls are currently $17 for 4 pieces. The order comes with plenty of fresh produce (romaine, Thai basil, pickled daikon/carrot), vermicelli noodles and a sweet fish-saucy dipping sauce. The spring rolls were made with love and fried fresh! My boyfriend and I ordered pho with 3 choice topping. The rare beef was delicate (not dry and tough like some places). The brisket was delicious, though some pieces fattier than my preference. Beef balls were soft but with a satisfying bite. The broth is expertly made, aromatic and delicious. Noodles are on the slightly thicker side but delicious nonetheless. [Service] I believe it was the owners I saw today. They were very friendly and kind. They made sure we were cared for! A seemingly homeless gentleman walked in and loudly asked for food in what I assumed was Vietnamese . The male owner spoke kindly to him and seated the gentleman. The female owner brought him a big bowl of something hot from the kitchen. These are the types of people we should be supporting!

This was our first stop after a long flight. Needed to get some food from my motherland. Overall Pho Tai was good. Broth was on point. I even slurped it all up. I ordered the banh mi thit to go. Not bad. We will be back again before flying home.

Pho one has been around for a while and it is one of the go to place for me to have pho. The place is clean, easy to access from Kapiolani Blvd. however, the parking is pretty limited, sometimes I can not find parking when I got there, so I have to adjust my time when street parking is allow. My wife found their spicy beef noodle is a bit difference from other pho places. Staffs are nice and they speak Vietnamese. I have not try other dishes yet because every time I came, I ordered the combo pho.

Very busy on Christmas so the service wasn't as attentive as usual. We also ordered 2 appetizers that never came. Tonight half the table ordered pho and the other half did family style. I can't believe the price of pho these days which has risen like ramen. I mean it's almost $20 for a bowl of noodles with some bits of protein sprinkled in! Pho with 1 choice of protein is $17.50 2-3 choice is $18.50 The Bahn xeo thit (Vietnamese shrimps & pork crepe) was ok but I've had better. Warning: if you are a neat freak don't get this because your hands WILL get dirty. No way around it. We also got the Vietnamese shabu again which came with catfish. This time it was ready made whereas last time we had a pot we had to cook our ingredients in. Glad they were open even though things did not go so smoothly tonight.

Welcome to PHO ONE Vietnamese Resturant on Kapiolani Blvd located in the residence area of Ala moana tower building, been coming to this spot for a bit now and this is my go to spot when I'm craving PHO, I've notice within the past year or so like (2021/2022 or so) theirs new OWNERSHIP at this PHO ONE. Things have changed like their menu books and some dishes I've notice, but still okay I'd say also the ambiance has changed totally the new owner change the whole decor but putting up a lot of plant decor and other things. Service here at pho one is good I'd say but could be better I'd say for me 80% of the time when I'm dining in I'd have to ask for more WATER or MORE NAPKINS. I just feel like the staff now need to come and check on their customer more often as usual. But other then that everything is okay. Would I recommend this PHO ONE spot to other people to check out - YES of course I would recommend it to other people also their parking situation here is good free parking in front of the Resturant and some stall under the residence building area.
